Personal Excellence Pathway for Manchester University

A brief note...

The APEP and QEPEP are great opportunities to gain experience in both clinical areas and research or evaluation.

You get the chance to study an area of medicine that interests you by carrying out a project in that area.

this may be research, audit, service evaluation or a literature review.

Students have 8 weeks dedicated to carrying out this in APEP in year 3 and a 4 weeks in QEPEP in year 5.

Choosing your APEP options are very important, self arranging or relying on the system options are open.

The aim of this repository is to look at what has been done in the past so you can see what might interest you and what you want to get out of the time.

Some students have made national and international presentations, had posters accepted for national and international meetings or published their work in peer reviewed journals.

For APEP, like everything in life, you tend to get out whatever you put in.

So peruse through and see what others have achieved.

There will be email addresses of supervisors or students (if they are happy to be contacted). If the email address is there, then they are happy to be contacted.
